Cisco updated Security Cloud Control to manage new firewall features and added integration with Catalyst SD-WAN Manager, improving security orchestration and visibility across distributed networks.

In November 2025, Cisco released a set of enhancements to its Security Cloud Control platform. These included endpoints for mass MSSP updates, integration of next-generation firewall (NGFW) capabilities with Catalyst SD-WAN Manager, and a tiered subscription model for its analytics and logging services. These features allow vendors and IT teams to centralize policies, visualize security events, and manage updates at scale, benefiting multi-site customer operations.

Integration with SD-WAN provides visibility into applications and applied security policies from a unified dashboard, reducing friction between perimeter security and network orchestration. For integrators offering managed services, this translates into the ability to package managed monitoring and response offerings with log retention levels according to the new licensing structure. SITE PERÚ recommends planning integration tests (Proofs of Concept) with key clients to measure IT impact and validate patching and backup procedures before migrating to production.
