EGASA’s Administrative Building suffered from poor cellular signal coverage due to its geographic location and surrounding structures that caused interference. This hindered communication and the normal performance of the staff. To solve this issue, a tailored advisory service in technological and connectivity solutions was required to design and implement a Cellular Signal Amplification System through antennas and repeaters.

How did we do it?
Coverage Diagnosis On-Site
A technical visit was conducted to gather key information, such as signal strength from different operators and identification of critical areas with low or no reception.
Strategic Planning
In coordination with the responsible area, an activity schedule was established during off-peak hours to minimize interruptions to EGASA’s staff operations.
Staged Implementation and Support
A phased methodology was applied to organize installation, testing, and adjustments, ensuring efficient implementation with constant technical support.
The implemented solution
The solution was deployed in three planned phases. First, two directional antennas were installed outside the building to capture the signal from different operators.
This signal was then amplified and redistributed to critical areas through strategically placed cellular repeaters. Finally, omnidirectional antennas were installed in high-traffic areas such as the cafeteria and meeting room, dispersing the signal evenly and ensuring stable connectivity throughout the facility.
