The Challenge:
INEI faced a critical operational challenge: its Panasonic PBX system had severe technological limitations that hindered both internal and external communications. To overcome this obstacle, the project required personalized consulting in technological and connectivity solutions to implement a comprehensive Unified Communications and Contact Center solution, which included the modernization of its IP Telephony platform and the integration of billing and reporting software for customized and centralized communications management.

How did we do it?
Compatibility Analysis
We conducted a thorough review of the existing equipment to verify compatibility with current technologies and ensure the new solution would meet the client’s needs.
Gradual Planning
A detailed work plan was designed to implement the solution in a phased manner.
Low-Impact Implementation
The project execution focused on minimizing the impact on active telephony services, guaranteeing operational continuity for INEI throughout the entire process.
The implemented solution
The solution consisted of a modern Grandstream UCM6308 IP PBX, a robust platform with capacity for more than 300 IP phones, equipped with FXO and FXS ports for analog contingencies. Alongside this, 122 IP terminals of various models (GXP2170, GRP2603P, GRP2613) were deployed, offering flexibility through PoE power supply.
Additionally, to optimize system administration, a billing and reporting software was integrated, enabling INEI to obtain detailed call reports by extension and user. Finally, the proposal was complemented with a preventive maintenance service, aimed at reducing the risk of future failures and ensuring maximum system operability in the long term.

Technological and Functional Optimization

Administrative Management and Control
Thanks to the billing software, the management of the PBX was enhanced, allowing INEI to obtain detailed reports by extension and user for precise control and optimized use of telephony resources.

With the inclusion of the preventive maintenance service, the risk of future failures was significantly reduced, ensuring service continuity and avoiding breakdowns that could impact the institution’s productivity.
