Grandstream HA100
The HA100 is a high-availability controller designed to work alongside two Grandstream UCM6510 devices.
Its main function is to constantly monitor both units and, when the primary system fails, automatically trigger failover to the secondary UCM6510 in hot-standby mode, ensuring that telecom lines, network connections, and SIP terminals continue operating without interruption.
Main features
- Ability to connect to and monitor two UCM6510 devices simultaneously for high availability.
- Automatic switching (“smart failover”) to the secondary UCM6510 when the primary unit fails.
- Up to 14 LED indicators showing real-time status of telephone lines, network links, auxiliary devices, and more.
- Uses Gratuitous ARP to force SIP endpoints to update the MAC address of the new active UCM6510 without service interruption.
- System failover time between 10 and 50 seconds, depending on the number of registered SIP terminals.
